Participating
First Round, 9th, 10th and 11th of September 2013:
Each soloist, duo, ensemble will interpret one or more pieces of their choice with a maximum playing time of 20 minutes. The piece (or one of the pieces) has to be by a Swiss composer. (For a list of Swiss composers, consult the links on this website.)
Final Round, 13th and 14th of September 2013:
A maximum of eight soloists, duos and/or ensembles will be chosen as finalists. The candidates will present a concert with a programme of their choice and a maximum duration of 50 minutes. At least one of the pieces has to be by a Swiss composer. Repeating pieces from the first round is possible.
All pieces, both of the first and final round, need to have been composed after 1950.
